Founded in 1898, the University became a fully-fledged business school in 1911. Today, our school has one of the largest management faculties in Europe, and a 5,000 full-time student body. We offer a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate, executive (both degree and short-term) and doctoral programmes and were the first university in the German-speaking area to offer an independent international MBA programme.

University of St.Gallen - The St.Gallen MBA

The part-time MBA is designed for young executives desiring to pursue an MBA and continue working and comprises a unique mix of MBA studies and Leadership development. The programme can be completed in 24 to 36 months. This allows you to balance your personal and work commitments, working between 60-100% at the same time as having the benefit of an MBA education. The programme shares the same high level of academic and practically relevant content as the Full-time MBA, but offers a flexible learning model.

The first ten classes comprise the Programme for Leadership Development, which can be studied either as part of the MBA programme or as a standalone Diploma in Executive Education. The modules are taught across 3 of the principle language zones in Europe, and the modules take place in St.Gallen, Barcelona and London. The modules are lead by Professors from both the University of St.Gallen and ESADE Business School, designers of the specialised leadership course LEAD.

The programme focuses on international business with a European focus, and the rotating locations allows us to draw on guest speakers and content from some of Europe's most important markets. Additionally, the class is able to draw international mobile students from around Europe to give you access to one of the few internationally diverse part-time MBA programmes in the World.

Each year 50 places are available on the programme.

Applicants from mainland China are required by the Swiss Consulate to submit an IELTS score with their visa application. At present, no exceptions are permitted.
